Your .ORG & The Mobile Web
In the past few weeks several mobile web reports have surfaced illustrating the increased growth this service is experiencing. Last week at the Mobile World Congress held in Barcelona, Spain, the advances in several areas of the mobile web were discussed, with particular focus placed on the rise of smartphones enabling much more frequent user web access and playing an instrumental role in “recognition for the Mobile Web,” as stated in The Forrester Blog for Integrated Marketing Professionals. Additionally, AdMob, the world’s largest mobile advertising marketplace, announced that in January 2009 worldwide requests in their network increased 8% to 6.8 Billion. The Mobile Web is continuing to gain clout as a key space for those who are focused on raising the visibility for their product, service, or organization.
