DNSSEC "FUD Busters"

As the term DNSSEC becomes mainstream, so does the Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt (FUD) around it. Thankfully much has changed after the Kaminsky report, but FUD will still prevail unless we and other industry players take on the role of “FUD BUSTERS“. So here is my call for industry collaboration to address DNSSEC FUD.

Let’s stop the spread of FUD by conducting constructive discussions to resolve the real and perceived issues surrounding DNSSEC. I want to offer The .ORG Blog as a forum for these types of discussions. I am going to call upon the newly formed DNSSEC Industry Coalition to author blog postings that address DNSSEC FUD. The DNSSEC Industry Coalition is committed to the awareness and adoption of DNSSEC and I think the group as a whole will be very effective in their role as FUD BUSTERS.

Our first FUD BUSTER will be on “The Reality of DNS Attacks”. Please keep checking our blog for more exciting additions to the DNSSEC FUD Buster Series. Our .ORG Ambassadors and Advocates section will bring several key players to dispel DNSSEC FUD with their informed insight and knowledge. We will be busting new DNSSEC FUD over the next several weeks!
